/me waves the tinsel he's just taken down at the OP: can we get Christmas out of the way first? besides, we have already had 1 update from FD already even though they don't get back to work until tomorrow, they are adding a server status page.

but what the 'big' problem in a journal of development? What's the big problem to answer questions in a forum? Does not exist.

I have always said, best strategy to do something to work is communication.

Watch how other successful companies - such as CCP - does in his 'devLog's'. Simple.

You mean these ones? Yeah, they haven't posted anything over the holiday break either. Have some patience and give it a rest, they'll tell us what's going on when they're done with their holiday. You joined these forums less than a week before Christmas.

This game's journey started long before December 19th, and will be continuing for a long time to come.

There have been many detailed discussions with multiple FD staff (exec producer, designers, graphics dev, netcode dev, and David Braben Q&A). Many subjects. You name it, we've probably discussed it.

It's probably most reasonable to expect them to communicate on the 5th assuming they started their two weeks on the 22nd. Hopefully something a little more substantial than a fluff newsletter.

So basically you're saying you are done because folks are on a well deserved seasonal holiday and haven't been posting to the forums? Now, I may not be a big fan of the whole Christmas crazyness, but I would never begrudge others from having their merryment and time off *shakes head and tuts*
