They can't be refunding credits to every person who explodes for some reason. Be considerate to the people with tickets who can't log in at all and just eat this loss.

I don't mind the loss, things happen.
I had enough to rebuy the ship, just don't have the money to rebuy it again. I either fly dirty from the station I got the gold from or I don't play until my ticket is looked into.

... Stories like this are why I have never bought a docking computer. Sure, my finger has hovered over the click-buy but I have seen enough NPC ships doing weird things as they come into to dock that I have learned to have very little confidence in the docking computer. It will work perfectly most of the time but that one time when I have a hold filled with rares will be the time the AI splatters me all over a station bulkhead.

Docking computer = Russian roulette

I'm pretty sure I saw this same thing happen the other day. I was following an NPC Hauler out of the dock when it just went boom! Didn't hit anything, wasn't shot up by the station or anyone else it just exploded when it reached the slot.

I found it amusing because I was shouting at it to get out of my way. Suddenly it did! Lol

And here I am with a ticket about my inability to login at all and having just lost (because of a similar bug) several million worth of exploration data. How sad for you...

I wouldn't think my ticket will be a high priority one.

I limped my way to a shipyard with no insurance.

Traded the type 7 in for an ASP, got 10 mill spare to kit it out. Might go exploring, can't decide.

I don't use 3rd party trading tools.

Was only making about 1k a unit on the gold, so I'll not be trading in gold again anytime soon.

Don;t like the idea of risking 2 million on cargo only to make 200k profit on the run.
