I have no problems in eravate, flying a python full of rich metal cargo without weapons... solo mode is so good

Why are events like these so looked down upon? It's an attempt at generating a player event that involves exactly what the devs have been pushing at. Will innocent commanders get caught in the crossfire? Sure. Though in no way should this looked down upon as a griefing attempt at trying to create content that anyone can be involes in or choose not to be involved in.

too many whiners whining about the OP in here lol. or people that are playing in ope but will alt f4 as soon as another player looks at them, either grow a set or go back to group or solo mode, telling people to report anyone attacking you in open play is the most stupid thing i have seen in the forum for a long time. their is a BIg difference between griefing and attacking someone. If you have a bounty on your head no matter how big or small I will try to claim it, if you have cargo i need i may ask you to share some with me if i cant find it elsewhere. I wont kill you if you dont but your repair bill will be very high. alt f4 on me and any time i see you again I will attack immediately without warning. Get away from me if i interdict I wont follow you with a wake scanner unless you have a bounty in which case i will. I dont destroy ships of players unless they attack me or have a bounty on them.
I am out looking for you OP. Prepare for glorious battle then painful death.
I think mostly because of the proximity to such a prominent starter zone. Nothing will send a new player running for Solo faster than getting caught out in an unwinnable situation 5 minutes after starting the game.
