Yes, Chris Wild was working on Lords Of Midnight before turning (hopefully) his attention over to the Midwinter series.
I am keeping a close eye on the new Lords of Midnight website for signs of a revamped Doomdark's Revenge.
Already bought the 'new' Lords of Midnight game and its fantastic - true to the original but improved all the shortcomings as well. Of all my Spectrum games these two games are the only ones I want to replay today, they were superb games and I only stopped playing them because I went off to Polytechnic and got interested in other things like food fights, visiting the girls dorm, and 'Special K' cider drinking nights.
It's great that I can now play LoM again and I might actually get to finishing it (so far Morkin is still alive!).
Edit: 26 game days later and I have won the game - first play through for 30 years and I destroyed the Ice Crown. Now I will have to go back and try to win by conquest alone!
