Exactly, if people are going to interdict him because of his bounty, they sort of had it coming.

Yeah, thanks

I interdicted him. Fought him earlier as well in what stayed mostly a 1o1, but someone else joined in in the end, got him down to 50% hull then. I felt as if I would have gotten him in the end for sure.

Don't understand why you guys pretend to be pirates, when you're just wanting to melt weaker ships.

I've also made it clear, in many threads, I don't mind real pirates. You know, the ones that ask for a little cargo and if you say no then blast you.

You misunderstand, I am not mad anymore

But the way I see it you owe me quite a bit of money and should you not pay, well, then Ill wait.

And one day, when you fly something expansive, me or my friends will spot you and I will make sure that you lose at least 10x what you illicitly gained today, just a friendly warning, thats all

Most? I sat and watched for a couple of hours. Most of the time he was interdicting and attacking lone ASP and Cobra MkIII's on rare runs, and having a ball. Those guys didn't choose that. But they chose open, and thats the risk you take.

Those 1v1 vipers and cobras that did come after him made that choice, and thats the risk they took.

Those last few guys decided to get some multi-player action going on and end this python's rampage. And thats the risk HE took when he started his pvp roam. If he's going to complain that using game features in open to beat him is weak, he can fly solo like anyone else who doesn't like that thought.

Complaining about it as he did is just weak, and undermines his accomplishement.

You didn't watch much then, up until about 400K bounty he was requesting cargo from players all the time, you must have watched after the search for him from bounty hunters had kicked in proper

Hopefully he'll post the stream up for viewing then you can see for yourself instead of labelling him as something he isn't.....

haha thats nice i will remember that

i like to see the game developin any kind of pvp its great for everyone , but im sorry for you because im not a trader type so i guess i will be on a viper forever... xD

The larger issue though, is that there's no real easy way to be notified of pirates in system in game. Heck I was watching the stream, noticed he was in Lave and just happened to be browsing the forums and saw this thread and thought, "Oh, this must be the guy they are talking about."

Indeed, it's open. But.....if you get interdicted and run straight away then what do you expect, a pirate is there wanting your goods.... You take your chances though aye....for those who didn't fly off he was asking for 10% cargo...10%! One guy who he blew the cargo hatch off and dropped lots of rares was asked to come back and reclaim most of his cargo....that's kinda nice of a pirate really!

Unpleasant must have been watching a different stream to me, that's for sure.

Initially he was interdicting pilots and asking for them to drop 10% of their cargo and only occasionally disabling/destroying fellow pilots who clearly wanted to put up a fight. Even stating how bad he felt when destroying the thrusters of some poor rare goods trader who then released cargo afterwards when they could have just as easily have self destructed without releasing anything. This just goes to show how there were no hard feelings from the losing pilot.

The latter part of the stream was pretty much people coming to claim the bounty so he was on the defensive. People attacked and as such were dispatched.

It was actually nice to see people team up by using the low energy wake to enter the fight but it kinda sucks for rote1 to get his potential 500K pay day sniped.
