Patau, you both must be joking with this largest Earth-like record - it is barely larger than Earth and even my Earth-like (Arissa ;) ) in the system with 19 at least high metal content planets is larger and more massive than the record one.

Rukmerot, I've already found a water giant and I definitely haven't even searched more than 100 systems since then (probably not more than 50) so it's not so rare as you claim.
IXJGvIV.jpg

If we have water worlds then we should have ammonia worlds as they are targets for colonization by Thargoids - what do you think?

The previous record was removed as it is now a water world, so this record has restarted check the thread:D, post your record.
watch this space Pandora's box will be opened ;)

ok so the name of that tier 4 is HIP 11792 C 2 A

I have a new entry for the

- Thinnest ring with 2953km
[img=http://s14.postimg.org/jma7zfbv1/Screenshot_0113.jpg]

-

and a question for Ender : how do you calculate the width of a ring like in = Thinnest multi ring - Leesti 1 rings have a width of 8,024km (radius of rings combined I see, smaller radius of a ring in multi rings too, but width? do you add up all the thickness of all rings?

no I keep it simple outer radius of outer ring - inner radius of inner most ring

its the 2nd confirmed water world ever found congratzz and the amionia worlds should be in their, patau is working on several new catagory's and they will be added soon "tm" also you probally have the smallest and lightest waterworld their

anyways after several days in the empire, im heading out again, see you in the frontier you can find me at the "upper"edge above sol

I don't think this has broken any records but it's a pretty interesting little rock:

all right.
but this stays good right?

- Thinnest ring with 2953km

- I've also found a new contender for the system with most high-metal bodies with 21 = Plaa Eurk KV-Y d16
(I've scanned them all to be sure (took an hour) and there is no terraforming candidates)

Patau I was wondering... "the system with the least in it" which class is the dwarf that was found? I can't find this info in the thread?

Patau I was wondering... "the system with the least in it" which class is the dwarf that was found? I can't find this info in the thread?

That was one of my records :D, I probably be removing this one as there are many other systems with only one dwarf
Also as rukmerot mentioned above we've been working on something special that you guy are going to love :D
This is going to be a big job so I need a bit of help, first I need a list of all the different Stellar Body types and all the different Planetary Body types
I'll post a little teaser this week end, so watch this space;)

The previous record was removed as it is now a water world, so this record has restarted check the thread:D, post your record.

Arissa, in some backward circles still known as Praea Euq TT-A d31 B11, is obviously the largest and the most massive of known and not colonized Earth-like at radius of 6,706 km and having 1.3896 Earth masses ;)

watch this space Pandora's box will be opened ;)
Let me help you with it, please ;)

Most strange star system: HIP 9464 (all stars exceed their intended parameters from description and I wonder whether or not I should ticket the system because it's seems to me that I've seen many similar examples)
s6NpEwi.jpg
Most massive and hottest G-type star: HIP 9464 A at 1.5586 solar masses and 7,753 K
K0b5SF0.jpg
Lightest (probably also coldest) K-type star: HIP 9464 B at 0.5547 solar masses
PmQB6jM.jpg
Lightest (probably also smallest and coldest) A-type star: HIP 9464 C at 1.3477 solar masses (A-type star colder than G-type star)
tyVDSfn.jpg

Now, more usual record of lightest and smallest candidate for terraforming: Synuefe DH-M b39-1 AB 3 at 0.0698 Earth masses and radius of 2,652 km
IUD7NXP.jpg

I've also found a new contender for the system with most high-metal bodies with 21 = Plaa Eurk KV-Y d16

Nice one! Little low on pictures, though... I'm curious how valuable it is for UC.

I would like to claim biggest waterbased life body with 77.694km
its name is col 285 Setor AX-vb18-1 B 1

Finally, a great find! The name is a little wrong, though ;)

I took a day off today, but I have something for the system for the least in - Just a single black hole, thought that would be the least you could ever get...

Taking to time out to get ready for work :)

Really looking forward to your project :D

corected
oops, thanks for checking.

no record, wanna see if i fit through though

BTW, Patau, I think that Difu 3 record should be removed (the planet is smaller now) and Col 285 Sector AX-V b18-1 B 1 should be largest ringed body, as well.

Let me help you with it, please ;)

Not yet! hold on to those new categories for a few days
Here's a little teaser of what I'm working on for you guys:

That's the Delux Edition bound In Belalans Ray Leather
Now where's that complete list of all the different types of Stars and planets I asked for?

so I found some more record breakers, 3 in one system to be exact (its Always that last scan)

Another water giant

weighing a bit more and being just a bit bigger at a respectfull 157.7572 solar masses and having a radius of 24 785km named hip 61577 AB 4

mmd839.jpg

also found this gas giant at its right and its 14 moons named hip 61577 AB 5
30hlimg.jpg

And to its left their is this beautifull heavyweight weighing a whopping 3.895.6345 earth masses named hip 61577 AB 3
14khaq8.jpg

I don't think it's relevant to the list but I want to remind everyone that white dwarfs are actually stellar remnants. They aren't stars. White dwarfs are literally glow-in-the-dark balls in space.

well, I thought I wouldn't put 21 screen shot here ;) but I can send you picts of whatever you'd like just name the body you want :D
Else, I'll try to remember and look once UC pays off to see how worth this one was ;)

just so you know smallest and lightest waterworld and first amonnia world

It was a joke, actually, but seeing now how it affected my activity (it gave me a reason to look closer at properties of all stars) I think it's a good idea to have such records. And I've already found even lighter K-type star...

Looks great!

I don't think we would be able to give you a complete list as there are probably some very rare objects eg. carbon planets, mentioned by David Braben.
Perhaps this could be helpful (look at the pages mentioned, too):

Edit:
Hi Commanders,

Another record sat in my log I forgot - Largest Earth like - KOI 442 3 = 8,282km - Something weird too, get this... It's Terraformed! WOOT !

https://www.dropbox.com/s/r4tmmtuiakd0mqn/Screenshot_0179.bmp?dl=0

Perhaps it could be a good idea to not have natural Earth-like in the same category as terraformed.

One proposal. Include planets with highest saturated atmosphere with some of main gases (oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide). This terrestrial water world is strange. 90.5% oxygen! Its a real oxy air spa!! Toxic offcourse:D
