How's about "System with the most colourful planets?" :D

When I journeyed to HIP 84144 I discovered it's like a cosmic-sized bag of brightly coloured marbles...

And here are all the bodies (with the exception of HIP 84144 2's moon and HIP 84144 13 which is a T-Tauri star) lined up in a chromatic cavalcade!

Not so fast my young padawan....

Lightest neutron star :- Solar masses 0.4375

And while I'm at it, new oldest neutron star....

Oldest neutron star :- 16,646 Million years old.

Cheers, SK.

Damn you *shakes fist*

Seriously, congratulations! That must be the quickest take-down of a record I have seen!

That's really nice, How about "System with the most types of bodies"
how many have you got?
that means I going to have to add System with the most types of stellar bodies and most types of planetary bodies

I don't think it's relevant to the list but I want to remind everyone that white dwarfs are actually stellar remnants. They aren't stars. White dwarfs are literally glow-in-the-dark balls in space.
At least they were stars - brown dwarfs have never been them and almost always will never be.

Just want to point out that this Earth-Like is 3,000 ly from SOL! Who Terraformed it?
Great find! You should apply for: Most distant terraformed planet from Sol. There are no stations but it would be good to check whether or not the system is colonized.

... anything missing?
It seems to me that there are different kind of white dwarfs but I don't remember their designations. S-type star is also carbon if I remember correctly and the other one is C-type. There is a typo in the name of Wolf-Ranyet stars as they are called Wolf-Rayet. Some planets are also differentiated by their atmosphere type - should we distinguish them?

the class O is to hot , lived to long and it is to big
Exactly, and there are many such examples but this one has forced me to make a ticket about them all:
class III in disguise of class II ;)

As for interesting findings, I found yesterday 2 rock planets that were candidates for terraformation and I thought it was pretty rare because I had not spotted them before but today I found the other 2 - all of them are moons and 3 of them have parents that are candidates as well:
- first system
EnjLo8k.jpg
4chNcLA.jpg
- second system

Did I say Helium-Rich gas giants are rare? Perhaps I need to rethink it as I've found a system with 5 of them (this could be a record) - HIP 9955:

LSKEbfD.jpg

OzYdV0H.jpg
LdBmHRe.jpg

Perhaps we need additional categories for moons, as well, because they look more impressive when they are proper daughters of a parent (not moons of a moon):

A body with most proper moons - 13 revolving around HIP 10277 AB 1
Y3YxSAm.jpg
A body (non-giant) with most proper moons - 4 revolving around HR 576 5 (it's just an example)

Was;

Largest ringed Body - Col 285 Sector AX-V b18-1 B 1 with a radius of 77,694km - rukmerot

gas giant.jpg

Now;

Largest Ringed Body - Pru Ain ZC-J b52-1 4 with a radius of 77,760km - oroboras

Though I am confused, as the colour of the planet doesn't fit the description, neither does the surface temperature.
This seems to be happening more, the further out of populated space I am getting.

So C-type and S-type are both carbon stars and both are distinguishable in the game? I should change carbon star to C-type right
wait for tomorrow night you might need that helium record for then;)

Added to op! nice find

So I found a system with the most stellar bodies, which is on the list you mentioned above. Should I wait until the Galactic Book of Records is up to post?

Largest and heaviest ringed star

Largest ringed star - HIP 31649 11 with a solar radius of 0.3278 - Cmdr Gerakis
Heaviest ringed star - HIP 31649 11 with 0.1758 solar masses - Cmdr Gerakis

I'll claim those 2 thanks.

their is an even bigger one and i know where :)

System with most bodies was :- Plaa eurk MH-C c13-2 with 110 bodies - rukmerot

Not any more , I found 116 in HIP 31741. First screen shows the result from scan (top left) and the system can be seen bottom right for clarification. I also submit the scan screen with the system designation, cropped unfortunately for clarity due to resolution drop on hosting site. I think the submissions should provide enough evidence for my record.

is this including belts (belts are not counted as bodies)

this screenshot is including belts (belts are not counted as bodies for the record, otherwise the record would be set at 119 atm)

I just started out my exploration career in a Peterson hauler. After one too many times of destroying all my rep building by accidently shooting a police vehicle that flew in front of me, i packed my bags, traded in my viper for a Peterson hauler (not the best choice i know) and headed out toward erm, well toward the east, if you're looking down on the galaxy.

The money isn't great but it's very interesting, would you guys have any tips for a new fellow explorer?
