Runs fine without admin privilege for me. I used Microsoft's Application Compatibility Toolkit to create a shim for the BPC that alters the manifest so that it launches with RunAsInvoker instead of RunAsAdmin or RunAsHighest or whatever it's currently set to. It works just fine, or at least doesn't seem to give me any more issues than what other people appear to experience.

Before anyone gets in my face about not trusting Slopey, it has nothing to do with trust and more that if there is some kind of bug or exploit I would rather it not open up adminstrative access to my system. I take the same steps with any program that I feel is requesting elevation needlessly. Notable examples include Star Citizen and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Using it with EliteOCR, which is a god send in its own right. Using the both together makes price/route checking so much quicker!

Very pleased how after finding a commodity to trade in from station to station I checked how my route looked in BPC only to discover there were more profitable commodities to trade in. Only with a difference of 5 - 10CR, but that soon adds up over time.

Also, could someone tell me what EDDN is?

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but every time I try to set my time zone, it doesn't save it, it reverts back to 00:00 Morocco or something.

Is there any way to exclude certain commodities from a search? I'm in Empire space atm, and every time I try to find a route, I get a ton of routes claming they have 600k total profit, because of the bug with the imperial slaves offering 6k cr profit per ton (which is now obviously fixed), so I would like to know if there's a way to get directly to the legitimate routes.

I have been going on an OCR spree and adding stations like crazy ( about 100 in the last day)

I have just one small problem though. When I Save data from and EliteOCR .bpc file, it locks my trading tool for about 5 minutes. Any clue why this is happening?
For the record, you rock btw. This is such a great tool!

I exclude obvious errors by filtering the 'Unit Profit' column, so I don't see results higher than 2k.

Not sure what happened to my BPC but until yesterday it was working fine with 5k+ known systems but somehow it stopped uploading/displaying stuff so I had to reinstall it.
Afterwards the things are working again which were broken but lot of the systems are missing, I am down to 1,2k known systems. What can I do to have all 5k systems back?

Oh.. This also happens with me trying to set the auto update frequency to be longer than five minutes. At least turning off random banter worked though.

Slopey, thank you for this tool. it makes trader life much easier

is it possible to make a search criteria NEAR From/To systems? i want to find some trade routes near my current location and ready jump a few times to the best route.

As said several times in the last dozen pages of this thread, this is called a "radius search", and is on the to-do list.

i'm sorry, if my question was quite annoying

but reading 131 pages of the topic is more annoying as for me.
i think, would be fine to stick such questions at the header of thread. some kind of FAQ in the first message. it should help to avoid such situations. or was this discussed several times before too?

Radial search is a planned feature. Be patient.
