Everytime I fight something big, for example Anaconda and other NPC a police are helping me, my gatling accidentely hit the cop and they start attacking me and I have to run away and pay 600 bounty on me. NPC ships should be hostile after multiple hits, not a first single one.

I think the replies to the other million threads on this pretty much all say - "watch your fire"

It happens, just try to be a bit more careful when firing with the cops flying about...^^^600 credit bounty and you think that's the end of the world ! O,dear! ^^^

So no changes? no fixing? game is fine, nothing needs to be improve? With this attitude game will die soon.

If half of the star systems crashed the game when entering, you'd be told to mark them up and learn to avoid them. Nothing wrong with the game.

I strongly agree with OP and think you should first get fines for few bullets at somebody's shields. Secondly the police reaction should be proportionate meaning that the Anaconda with 100.000 CR bounty will still be focused on and your 200 CR will be addressed later.

Yep, that you dont handle your weapons responsible needs to change ASAP indeed. What happens when you hit another CMDR "accidently"?

In the meantime you can just turn off "Report crimes against me".

If I accidentally shoot you in the street would the police let me off if I say it was friendly fire?
If police shot an innocent bystander, would the public let them off for friendly fire? I can play stupid too.
You're in a vessel with shields that deflect the most powerful weapons known to man, along with armor that a military unit could only dream of - there's room for error.

Who said "no change" and "no fixing"? Are you dillusional?
Just because some people dont agree with this one issue YOU have you quickly assume that those people doesnt want other things changed/fixed?

Your thoughts are not the law, its just your individual opinion.

If they change the game according to OP then all you have to do is blast away.
If they leave it as it is, at least youll have to think twice when there are friendlies around.

The first is a step towards mindless simplistic gaming, the second encourages at least some thought to go into it. And many seem to prefer the latter.
This "issue" is a game design mechanic that is highly individual for each and every player if they like it or not and has nothing to do with crashing servers or bugs.

What is wrong with you people?

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the game's called Elite: Dangerous, not Barely Competent: Please hold my hand

Well, I find your attitude here a little bit questionable. The behavior of the police is clearly a gameplay element and not a bug. If the developer change every game mechanic due to forum posts they have no time to add new features.
I personally like this friendly fire. IMHO it achieves the same effect as in e.g. Counter Strike. You can't just spam fire you have to be cautious.
Of course you can have another point of view but don't try to be so egoistic. Many people here seem to like this feature...

I've read that so many times by now that I actually start to think that some people seriously use a part of the game's name as an argument to defend everything from random ship explosions for no reason to your monitor falling on your cat. "It's supposed to be DANGEROUS, deal with it."

The same was said of all feds randomly going red when you attacked a bounty until FD fixed it as a bug.

I see your bet and raise you. Police ships shouldn't even be in the damn zone honestly.

Same has happened to me before, just get out of there and go pay it off, it comes with the territory. Even when I'm careful, one of the NPC's will fly in front of me just at the wrong time and one single bullet from my multi-cannon will give a bounty. £%$ happens!
