Griefer at Altair, Solo Orbiter station, INSIDE the station griefing...

There's a griefer sitting inside the station shooting missiles at incoming ships coming through the entrance. His CMDR name was even a griefer name. Not sure how someone is allowed to sit inside of the middle of a station and missile incoming ships.

I had just lost my ship (newly-bought and kitted Type 6) just 15 minutes before at the same station due to the station firing at everything inside. Came up from outfitting to massive station fire that I've never seen the scale of before.

So, I pay insurance and go fill my cargo up again to come back for more cargo to that CMDR sitting in the middle of the station killing incoming ships. Now my Type 6 and cargo are destroyed again. This time I have to take a loan, but have no more money for purchasing items to trade. So, now I have to sell my Type 6 and go back to my Cobra that's parked at another station.

I've never played in solo mode, but this type of garbage griefing makes it very tempting....

Thanks for that link. I read these forums many times a day every day and somehow missed that thread. I guess I'll have to take the 3 Point Defense turrets off my ship for the time being.

But, it said I was specifically killed by the griefer CMDR that fired the missiles. I didn't even see the station fire the second time I lost my ship.

He is on the landing pad with permission to land waiting for a target. After shooting at someone he proceeds to land before the station kills him.

"Report 'em ALL! let FD sort em out!"

The esc menu report a player is the (proper) place to name and shame a player.. acting badly. This counts.

I encourage all players affected by this sort of childish griefing (akin to holding your finder a millimeter from someones face saying over and over again: "NOT touching you! NOT touching you! Not....) To report it, detail what happened, then let the managers handle it. Even if its a mild case of "off color character", if FD gets enough complaints about the same guy over an extended period of time, then decisive action will be warranted.

On a side note, Complaining about it HERE is more of a badge of accomplishment to those sociopathic players out there. So keep it to the esc menu, and let the offenses stack up in the background.

Here's how it works:
1. Request docking
2. Fire a missile at the target
3. Target's point defense shoots the missiles, hitting your ship in the process
4. Now the target has a bounty on its head
5. Dock before station can kill you, now target gets blown up by the station.

I think this exploit is brilliant. Demonstrates lack of testing by FD very well.

EDIT: Nm, that's griefish, but he should be evaporated.
...or is it the third time?
