One of the station voices sounds IDENTICAL to Chekov in the new Star Trek movies.
Station Name, please?

Ah, sorry. Posting on my phone at the moment. Unless someone else posts it in the meantime, I can find an example station and post it here later.Station Name, please?![]()
Agreed, it's a chinese chick, alright.
Chinese sounds different to that, though. There's a big difference.
Unless Chinese is just a substitute for "any Eastern-Asian".
Japanese is softer and more melodic. Chinese is harsher. More gutteral and sharper.
Of course, it might just be an impression. In which case it might be Notrealese.
So, from the credits:
Original Ship Voice: Verity Croft
Federation Station Voice: Sarah Newbold
Empire Station Voice: Haruka Kuroda
Alliance Station Voice: Matthew Florianz
Anarchy Station Voice: Kobna Holdbrook
For sure Haruka Kuroda is Japanese, but I'm not sure if she's modifying her accent for the voice work.
Everything about ED's audio is awesome. The excellent score, the ambient sounds, and the voice work. Cracking job.
I wonder who does the Duthc and Scandinavian accent![]()
