I just came from the forum of another kickstarter game that shall be nameless and I actually feel dirty after wading through the colossal pile of excrement being thrown around by the 'fans.' Some of the stuff was downright offensive, and I think I'm a tolerant person for the most part.

By contrast I've seen mainly mature, enthusiastic, and helpful people on these boards. Fellow forum-goers, I salute you.

Oi I resemble that comment.. I also would give stars to all the peeps in here for the general all pull in the same direction to make a great game..even with disagreement.

I don't know even what to say. Had a harsh day today, lot of rush, lot of sleepless hours. This reminds me why I enjoy this community since those crazy Jointy nights in ED KS comments. It will be truly a honor to fly with all of you.

I've encountered my fair share of toxic communities over the 15+ years I've been roaming the net, but I agree, this one is rather nice. ;)

Then again... this is the second kick starter game I ever backed, so maybe I'm lacking some experience there...

Yeah it's one of two outstanding communities I've ever been a part of in my 19 years of internet communitying. The other was the forum for that danged RPG I played way back when. But seriously... I need another beer before I can finish that sentence.

Its probably because we are mostly old ******s that are just happy to re live a bit of our childhood and not grumpy teenagers..... or maybe its just because we like stars.....:D

Yes it is true that the forums of Frontier are considered as being friendly. Even the confrontations always finish in the good mood. Personally I come regularly with great pleasure and I think it's the same for the majority of commanders here. But do not be mistaken, in the game, it will not always be like this ...

Perhaps because the averagr age is higher than in most community ;)

That was one of the first things I noticed after reading a lot of the threads here, now when I'm talking to like minded (and aged) people about E: D I always mention how mature the forums are... in the main... :D

Not many fights happen in old folks homes! Yep Ive been lurking around here for some time and it seems peaceful and informative. :smilie:
