Thats difficult, because all screencap tools didnt cap excel in the background. These screenshots created with !!! Snipping Tool from Windows. FRAPS didn't work, video or screencaps.

I'll try to get a demo video put together for you with OBS.
So now that I've done a few routes with this tool, all I can say is bravo. This is probably the best trade tool I've used.

Wrong path! Please use the install folder of Elite Dangerous like D:\Elite Dangerous and not D:\Elite Dangerous\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1001

Strangely if i run 1.00 using excel 2013, i can get it to start to load up but then get the error, "runtime error 76, path not found"
I am not using D:\Elite Dangerous\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1001
I dont use the path D:\Elite Dangerous
My path is D:\Games\EDLaunch\
Could this possibly be the issue?

If you are having trouble finding the correct install location of ED, try looking under Users/Appdata(hidden folder by default - MUST SHOW HIDDEN FOLDERS) and you will find it.
I'm just another guy, sitting here, wishing this worked with OpenOffice.
Two things
1) ED installs look different on different platforms.
I think things look like your screenshot does when you tell the installer where you want the game installed.
I didn't give specific guidance, and on Windows 8.1, c:\program files\frontier\edlaunch does not contain the products folder (which I'm guessing is what you're looking in for logs).
For me, the Products folder is way down c:\users\<me>\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments. I assume I should install here?
(And off topic, but the key bindings are somewhere different again)
2) your signing certificate itself looks unsigned, which causes Excel 2013 (with standard settings, which includes "disable all macros with notification") to barf. I'll adjust my trust settings in a moment, but I don't think signing with an untrusted cert really adds any trust.
Anyway; what I've seen of the tool looks awesome - nice job.

I have the right install folder, it looks exactly like the screenshot above except mine is D:\Games\EDLaunch not D:\Games\Elite Dangerous
I can get it to run now with the 1.01 update file. I had to right click the file, select properties then click Unblock at the bottom under security.
However I still get the run time error once loaded, ie I get the interface overlay in ED but cannot use.
No you do not have the right location. As I said, look for Users/Appdata and you will find it there. I went through this same issue you are having with a different trade tool. If the folder you are looking at says EDLaunch it is the wrong location.

With my macro settings set to "yeah, I know we just met, but you seem cool", I get a database window followed by error 1004.
