Mercenaries of Mikunn - The Background Simulation and Colonization Test

I am pretty sure that Yesterday Law Party was at 16,9%. So it seems they lost .4%.

Even if we hold the Dukes where they are for a week it should be enough. We need to at the very least keep Dukes influence where it is for a week or so until the boom state dies off. If we still have above 30% influence, hopefully we should be able to start a civil war and grab one of the three stations.

I will be on in two hours.

Silver Society 9,3%
New HR 5,5%

Well theres some good news. Momentum is shifting to us now.

Keep pushing! Show those DC goons what Mikunn is made of!! Ice planets and asteroids??? Well yes.... but stone cold mercenaries!

Got another bunch of missions in today.

Post edit: Your changes don't add up. I'm pretty sure there is a mistake. Total positive change of .1 and total loss of .3..... who gained the other .2%?

The total is 99.9%, the 0.1 must come from a round number.
In JohnWayne post, the total is 100.1%.

One other interesting point is the change of status of Law Party.

To quote MB:

"Civil Unrest – 127 – Triggered on decreases of security and standard of living. While active it continues to lower security and standard of living for the system. All combat missions and actions for the minor faction are more effective."

So, yes, I think it may be something good!

Right-hand panel status (system view):

  • HR Dynamic 36% (36.1) pending civil unrest, lockdown
  • Dukes 32% (32.5) boom - pending boom, civil war critical, expansion
  • HR Law 16% (16.5) civil unrest - pending civil unrest, civil war, lockdown
  • HR Future 5% (5.5)
  • HR Silver 9 % (9.3)
  • Sum: 98% (99,9)

Mathan tried to fire at me yesterday, I've seen a missed laser flash just in front of me.
I hesitated to jump into the battle, but I was in mission mode, no time to waste. But he interdicted me 3 or 4 times in a row.

Just saw this pilot in Sukua Forest, docking in a T-6. Making some money from luxury runs, perhaps?

Just a quick info - did 5 little mission runs during lunch-break from HR to Sukua / Kwatee today, hope to do some more later on.

On a different topic - I've been trying out fixed class 2 beam lasers on my cobra - I do think they are noticably more powerful than the gimbal-variety, but annoying to use. I guess I'll swap them back, I'm too lazy to keep aiming all the time.

Is Mapor the closest place to by an ASP? I'm thinking of stripping the parts of the Clipper and leaving it docked somewhere close by kitting out an ASP so I can actually be useful again. Who know maybe large ships will be able to interact with small stations sometime in the near future.

If you want it really close, park it in Kwatee, buy a Sidewinder, strip it and fly out to Mapor. Loss on the Sidewinder is negligible.
