Speedball 2 has been remade too.
Apologies if there's an Off-Tpoc section in the forum. There either isn't or my eyesight is failing (space blindness).
Ok, Elite and XCOM UFO-Enemy Unknown are two of my favorite games ever. Therefore I've been lucky enough to see them re-developed over the past two years. So, I put it to you, if you could pick one game from your childhood to be modernised, what would it be? Also, what would you change, if anything?
For me, it'd be Speedball 2. Easy to learn, but hard to master. I'd want slightly better graphics BUT the main things I'd want would be an unlimited number of seasons, more than two divisions and a larger transfer market.
Remakes for Lords of Midnight and Doomdark's Revenge have been around for a good decade, eventually with the support from Mike Singleton and it was then upgraded and released even to iPhone, blackberry etc. http://thelordsofmidnight.com/ .. and the original 1999/2000+ remake site is still there with lots of info: http://icemark.com/.Doomdark's Revenge.
