I hope instead of fixing some pricing at 100cr, they should just let us start with sufficient funds to try stuff out at their real prices.
Speed: The stars blur (if you take off your glasses)
Weapons: Go "pew pew" (until you run out of breath)
Turning: Turns on a dime (if you live outside of the USA, you're stuffed as it won't turn on a penny, Euro-cent or any other coin)
Cargo Capacity: It comes equipped with a roof rack
Passengers: If they can hang on to the roof rack
Paint Jobs: You can have any colour you like, as long as it's black
(to be honest, I have no idea of its stats)

That works too. And is less likely to incur non-relevant bugs (e.g., insurance costing more than the ship, or the equipment sellback exploit)

That strikes me as far too inexpensive for those stats. 2 large weapons, highest speed, and a 35ly jump range? That should cost way more than 16m Cr.
The Cobra cost 380k only, it has the fastest speed and 22 Ly jump. (still very good in other areas, no drawbacks)
The Asp cost only 6 millions, it has the longest jump range and very nice cargo (still very good in other areas, no drawbacks)
hey if you want let's make the FdL only 25 Ly jump range, and 30 millions for all i care, but thoses stats are the bare minimum i hope to have.
The picture in the latest newsletter makes me feel it's going to have similar size to the Python. (Someone even made a screen with a Python at the same distance)

Yeah the Cobra is a steal at that price.
No my issue with the above stats is that it starts to look like the Clipper, but with higher speed and jump range. Hence my objection to being priced between the Asp and Clipper.
With all this rampant speculation, I take comfort in knowing that the ship won't cost me $15,000 USD.

Well we can probably guess the price range of the ship from the cost of the gear it carries, huperdrives, powerplants etc
Two large guns, two medium, and four small. Four utility points. Class six shield. Long jump range fast straight line but slow turn.
Or one extra large gun and two large and two medium.
