agreed as stated in the posts above plus the one addition:
if you go for combat setup, and you want most of it on B with the occasional A rating, you should have about 23 million ready. if you also need things like advanced discovery scanner, go for 25 million to at least have some buffer for your insurance.
did that a few days ago - spent 24m.
PS Do not try and hide in Asteroid fields without shields! (or at least do not bank to find your cockpit view suddenly full of an extremely large rock that is impossible to avoid!)
Don't go B, avoid B like the plague if possible.
It's too heavy and Asp is already very sluggish, even with A thrusters.
My Exploring Asp cost 20m. 7m is in the Fuel Scoop so could do it with 15m at a pinch. Next time out it will be worth 30m (15m Fuel Scoop)
The curse of the Asp strikes again! My Asp has cost me around 12 Million so far and is fairly handy for PvE, it does need a bit more love before I'll be really happy with it though (I really need better shields for her)

(Back to a few runs in my T6 to build up a bit of a cushion before venturing out in Cleo's End again)
I have an A fitted Cobra and 10 million Credits is this enough to get started in an Asp ?
Remember that you lose 10% on all the modules when you just sell the ship as-is. If you do decide to sell the Cobra, sell all the modules or downgrade them to E class in outfitting first. That way, you get the full price of the modules and only lose 10% of the value of the basic ship.Click to buy the Asp and it will tell you how much you can trade in your Cobra for.
