Though for what it's worth, surely the combat rank does not mean much in this context? If he traded his way to be able to afford a Vulture and of his tally of kills he has racked up several player-kills then surely he has more experience behind him than a player ranked Master in combat who's never engaged with another pilot in Open Play? A player like me, for example.

Its pretty meaningless, I had 600 kills and over 8m in bounties all in open and was still novice, even now im only competent with nearly 900 kills and 13m. It can be broken!

Funny. Just got a Vulture 4 days ago. Rank is Harmless. Never fired against a ship before. Now have 10-12 kills. And I am clean. Nav Beacons. I don't pirate and shoot clean targets. Simple.

I have less kills than you 750 registered + at a guess 500 others and I am expert its broken unless you have just killed NPC harmless sidewinders
