The perks are a reward for taking a bit of a punt, waiting for positive feedback before jumping in is not in the spirit of the thing!

To skip the who am I part I'd just like to tell that I'm one of those old boys who remember the original Elite back in the days of it's release And yeah, I liked that a lot

Anyway... I'm still hesitating if I should back up the project in it's current form. I mean I love all those space sims (and not sims too). I have backed Star Citizen too (don't eat me please). However, after big disapointment caused by fail release of X Rebirth (which I had many hopes for), I'm trying to get back to the original state of mind and stay sceptical about new releases.
I have read some topics about ED, but would you, backers already, be so kind to change my mind and make me put some $$ in this project too?

I'm also an old school Elite player too, and my memories of this have stayed with me, I've honestly had no interest at all in SC, as I know ED will give me all I ever need in a space sim, I can say this because of playing the original Elite, I have also paid to support ED by going to Alpha and with such a good community here you can't go wrong.:cool:

I've backed both SC and ED because they are different game made by 2 great game designers ;)
If you like sandbox space sim, you will like ED :D

Hello again! :)

Thank you very much for all responses. I have bet on the safe side and bought the Trader's pack (£37). I have the feelings this game will be epic, however right now it's hard to judge that, so I guess it's the safest bet for me, no PBF for me though. If alpha goes well and everyone will be satisfied with what they'll get, I might buy an upgrade (if it's still avaible of course).

Probably won't be able to upgrade, given what we've been told about the backer app and the store that replaces it.

You might be able to add beta access, but I wouldn't count on more than that.
