Elite: Dangerous Wallpapers

Nice wallpapers. Really liked the Pirate Base. It will replace my Krait Wallpaper :)

I added some of these pictures into my rotation. You could set it like that in Windows to avoid getting bored.

I hope the alpha testers can create some nice scenes too.

Hello Ashley! It is possible to have this fantastic image in high resolution? Thank you

:)

Still no response. But I do not ask the moon, and this image has had much success

It reminds me of a spectacular jellyfish. Are those actual ships floating about the perimeter? I don't quite recognise the shapes. Seems to be advertising signs there too.
So yes please a higher resolution would be nice so that we can discern things.

@Ashley - Sorry to be sooo demanding but could we have a high res of the space station+components and also the cockpit from newsletter #14 please.

Hi Ashley .... I'd like to see a few different ships next to each other eg panther clipper and a cobra mark 3 or a smaller ship next to it for visual size differences ... :)

I doubt you get any reply. FD is extremely withholding for a modern game company. Where normal companies make an effort and make it a point to release wallpaper packs by the plenty, FD sits on everything they got for some reason.

It is extremely easy to create wallpapers, yet they don't present much. And certainly not in different formats.

And so I suspect their models are just not there yet or are under constant improvement, so that they don't want to release anything that people will base anything on in terms of how good it looks or how the lighting is or whatever. Which worries me. They behave like girls, that like to tease boys.

it's pretty awesome

fullresolution

:)

Its better than awesome, its freaking amazing! In fact its better looking than the concept art which has the Cobra Mk III in. Surprised me no end when I saw it.

I'd still like a pic of the segmented space station in high orbit. I expect, you'll see that pic available as a fine print in the store at some point. Who could blame them for that?

They've released heaps of wallpapers from concept arts to loads of screen shots. I have 35 myself. :S

Concept art I don't consider wallpapers. I'm not interested in those myself anyway. They are interesting for geeks/artists. I prefer the finished product.

Usually a developer has a link on their website to a dedicated wallpaper section, to download an archive or just click to open and save a chose resolution.

Whether you consider them wallpapers or not, fact is they are. Also, no point complaining about not having "finished product" wallpapers because, guess what... That's right, there is no finished product. Wondering what your next little while is going to be.
