Earlier today I bagged ~400k in combat bonds from Federal CMDRs (yes, CMDRs) and still revived my 5 million cr bonus check for my participation in the defense of Volungu.

Correction: 7.5 mil bonus...for 1.3 mil bond contribution.

Although the CG is completed, id say the Feds are still losing the War. Since the Federal Faction has lost all of its influence in Volungu and the Patrons Principles gained even more.

Ah yes, political agreements evidenced by Cartographic Data. We both know that there are many inaccuracies in the Cartographic data. At this very moment there is a dispute over the public data for 78 Ursae Majoris. The news article itself does not mention what happened to the Federal station and news articles in and of themselves are not evidence. In fact I believe that the current dispute of the 78 Ursae Majoris was actually highlighted by an inaccurate GalNet article.

It's reasonable to believe that "Was given governorship" pretty much implies station control. If we are to believe that Patron's prinicples is Faveol, then CFC is Blossum. By that logic, the Blossums already have Volungu and directly compete with the Faveols (in metals and minerals, since both export the same types of goods).

And it's not just cartographic data any more, it's Galnet, written by FD itself, that provides this recent (and updated) lore.

If you're going to throw out some lore because the source is "questionable", then you may as well throw all of it out because all this stuff is written by FD. But at that point, you destroy any foundation of a credible debate.

I have never disputed this. I have not even disputed control of the system. I do, however, dispute sole and exclusive control of every station in the system. The Federation should, at the very least, have one station in Liaedin considering it's very important strategic position as well as its history.

While the occasional "brush-fire" conflict can certainly be profitable, all out war between my beloved Empire and the Federation would be ruinous.

EIC helped discipline their own, and taught them their place in the EMPIRE. We defend Liaedin, but it was the fault of the Patron's Principles for making a pre-mature grab for power against the Feds.

PP would have always lost because of solo. There is literally no way to undermine a community goal until 1.3 hits. So we turned a negative into a positive, and we keep Liaedin.
