Senator Farage will have a field day with this one. He has been banging on about the risks of being part of the big bad Milky Way for years. The Feds are just adding to his paranoia!
Here are my findings as the ISS Emperors Grace Science Officer:
- Adv. Scanner while 40 m in front of UA.. Nothing
- Cargo Scanned UA... Nothing
- UA spores or glitter does nothing.. I was in the mist of the UA with shields off.
- UA does corrode ship modules while in Hold.. toxic corrosion.
- Bought a refinery with the UA in hold.. nothing.
Visually:
- UA bleeds off a hazy yet glittery mist or fume.
- Lights.. we have all seen them in the other vid.
Audible:
- 4 distinct types of sounds: 1. Whale Moaning, 2.Morse Code/electronic sounds, 3.pinging?, 4. very very faint radio chatter? could be noise pollution from my ship, as it wasn't completely shut down.
I don't have any recordings, just screen shots. I am sure the others present will dig deep in the audio analysis.
Im in He Bo now.. no new missions or contacts that relate to the UA. I landed with 2 UA's, now only have 1. Not sure why it disappeared.
Oh ya.. i wasn't interdicted by any Thargoids while traveling to he Bo from Timo. Thought for a minute it was a homing beacon lol.

Since Red Wizzard discovered the UA and reported that this Artefact is damaging the Ship Systems once its on board, i have been thinking. Is it just me or does that sound very very familar. Remember when back in the Days a Pilot delivered a Virus to the Thargoids to destroy the Drives so they cant travel Hyperspace anymore? Call it a hunch but i have a feeling that these Unknown Artefacts are a kind of a revenge by them.

Who's got one NOW that can make a vid?! It's been a couple of hours now since the first one was grabbed... Is anyone taking a video and intending to post it?
I suggested this during the initial scan, when the UA started to bug out and duplicate. I wonder if a combo of Alien artifacts and UAs will work?
I do think that flying the UA to some far away system is ruled out, since it corrodes your ship.
