Has anyone really got close enough to see what the ''icons'' running down the ''seed pod'' end of the Artifact actually look like..? May they be a clue.?

It's not going to be morse code, or Ascii. Unless the owners/creators were trying to communicate with us - in which case, they'd use English wouldn't they? 
Yes, my feelings are the same. It's a living being. I dontvthink there's a cidecto look for.
I already tried to use base-6 and base-5 (for sequence without "note" close to "honk"), but no meaningful results. I was also thinking about binary format used in Arecibo message, but it doesn't make sense too much. I am inclined to think that there is completely different principle than binary/morse applied and/or it's not based on "note" pitch but something different (like number of pulses in each "note", it's timing, etc.).
I think Steve Laws sped up version sounds like a tuba or a horn instrument, but I don't have the ability to match the sounds to musical notes while at work.

Has anyone checked Leonard Nimoy station in LHS 3006? Maybe see what happens if you sell the artifact there? Or drop it there and see if it produces any other sounds?
Considering the information about the UA was "spoon fed" to us in the 1.2 trailer, maybe the station is also somehow connected? Would be worth a check.

Forget anything with 1444 or 1681 on the Z axis (middle number). It's too high up and there's as good as no stars up there.
That leaves you the ones with 484 and 625 on the Z axis.

I'm pretty sure that we shouldn't need to do anything too elaborate to crack it. While we were searching people came up with dozens of theories about where it could be, and in the end it was just in a SSS convoy.
Has anyone tried
1. Blowing it up?
2. putting it with other rare artifacts? AI relics, Hafnium 182 etc
3. Tracing the source of the convoys?
4. Assembling as many as possible in one place?
5. Taking it to Soontill?
6. Trying very basic codes on an unaltered audio sample(like alphabet code or morse code)?
7.Checking on the galaxy map to see if previously permit locked systems are still permit locked(while carrying one)?
I don't think we need to start taking apart each decibel of the sound individually for it to make sense. I'll try and find one myself later and have a go at it.
