I just think theSpaceTexan knows a lot more about these UA's. Funny how he knew where to find them (gave us all a good riddle that seemed to pan out) then the next day he makes a bee-line to SAG A (without the artefact, as toxic) makes me think we're supposed to find the artefacts origin using SAG A as the point of reference. It's a long trip to make unless your fairly sure your on to something.

Knowing the Lore in Elite, this is more then likely then you think. Remember we infested the Thargoid Ships with a Virus serveral hundert Years ago which robbed them of their ability to use Hyperspace. I am pretty sure something like that does not get forgotten easily.

Dang, the more I listen to it, the more I think that this whale sound is some kind of signal indicating the beginning of a broadcast, as it is always followed by those "insectoid" sounds... Maybe we should concentrate on those insectoid sounds instead of trying to find a meaning to the whole loop ?

My thoughts too.. The insect-like "clicking" sounds could be more significant than the musical tones. Maybe Mr sound designer just used a trombone slowed down as decoration because it sounds cool.

well considering it is the size of a cobra cargo scoop door. And a cobra is about 30 meter, it is like 2 meter
