I just think theSpaceTexan knows a lot more about these UA's. Funny how he knew where to find them (gave us all a good riddle that seemed to pan out) then the next day he makes a bee-line to SAG A (without the artefact, as toxic) makes me think we're supposed to find the artefacts origin using SAG A as the point of reference. It's a long trip to make unless your fairly sure your on to something.

Aye, you guys are now a lot closer to the truth. However, are you willing to venture into the darkness and discover the truth hidden within the truth?

If so, then go out there brave Adventurers and find what secrets are still left to be told...

No disrespect to Wishblend was intended but the narrative seemed better, and pithier, to go with the first recovered.

Well that is true but I mean you didn't say that Wishblend found it first......but failed to recover as renforcements couldn't reach him in time.

PS I risked it and went to leanard nimoy station and nope nothing currently that I can do with this unkown artifact

If this keeps up I might just shove the UA up someones Asp... :p

You mean they're not in decimal binary but in some other binary?
Or they could be in a number system where 10 is not a real value and a number can be mapped to a 2-dimensional co-ordinate?

has anyone tried base 6, or base 12? (based on how many fingers a Thargoid has)

I am now quite suspicious of FDev's hand in this. I have been checking SSSs all afternoon and evening since the first confirmed sighting. Not one of them contained the bait/traps or even any hostiles. All of them contained large convoys with Type 9s. The last two I tried had salvage bait (so I just legged it). I think they may have tweaked the drops for us today. :D

(Thanks FDev if true, well played.)

Pretty much this.

Well without any lead to which direction to go explore it is kind of a waste of time. The only "lead" which we have is Sagetarius A. But that is more a very vague guess then a proper "lead". Instead of being so cryptic why dont you give a proper hint which is not cryptic if you actually DO know something? Nothing against you Tex but you have not really been helpfull in the slightest in this.

Okay, don't go to Sagittarius A with this thing, unless you're going to dump it there.

I don't think anyone considered that. The question was whether the coordinates with relative to Sag A. I doubt it, I still think they are relative to Polaris. I can't check myself right now, though.

He's not really causing any harm.
