This can turn into a Type-9 Fan Page, I'm good with that...But...I have a question about the Type-9 first. I started trading for the first time in a clipper with 240Tons. When I got the "Nu" clipper I realised that trading was my next experience if I wanted to kit it out. Anyway I found a nice single jump route with 2.5K round trip and made 90mil safely and it was fun and agile to fly. But my question is around my next step. I initially thought that I should get a type-9 as the next ship to maximise trading dollars but when I looked into it I saw that although its 500Tons with shields (I am in open) it would take a lot longer to complete the route and its a lead brick to fly so although you are doubling the tonnage you are not doubling the profit (maybe 1.5?). Anyway after much research I decided that I would get a trading Python at 282T with 3A shields and its been great. I found a 1 hop trading route where one was an outpost and I am doing 2.5K round trip in 10mins which is 1.4Mil per 20mins or 4.2Mil per hour. And its safe and easy to fly.
So has anyone got numbers on types of routes and Mil per hour for the type-9 ? I'm sure you are doing better than me but I am interested in how you find it etc. I have an aggressive flying style which has seen my shields save me from my self on multiple occasions and I don't know how I would fare in a type-9.
