CMDR Darrash Vogorthon has been there, seen it and liked it on 8 May 3301 :)

On a whim I decided to fly away from Sag A* and look back at it with the debug cam, and then I sped that up and reversed it and made a video of it coming in and out so you can see just how insane the grav lensing is.

Enjoy:

Well I made it to Sagittarius A* on the 1st of May, I'm now nearly halfway back to civilisation now. It's been a long old slog, it had me falling asleep at the stick on more than one occasion .
Not sure how to put a pic in a spoiler tab so I can't post any pics.

Anyone know of any active community goals for exploration data going on at the mo?

FINALLY! Made it!

It has been some 5-6 week trip. As i can only play some one hour in a day, and not even every day...
Also, you know how it goes. "Oh, there is intresting nebula, oh there is another one. Wau, what it that.." and so on.

Still. Made it to there. Next is how in h*** I get back home =)

Hello everyone!

My first post on this forum, hope I didn't do anything wrong (I've read the rules of course).

After 2 months, I finally made it to Sagi with an Hauler. Throughout my journey I made big pauses of course but I'm still proud of making it this far. I handled it more as a spiritial journey than just to make money or for fame.

Look out Earth, the slime's coming home!

Screenshot_0063 (2).jpg

Double milestone, since it worked out to be my 2500th system to date :)

Question: Are there other supermassive black holes in our galaxy? And is it known if there ones in the procedural generation element of the game at all (as opposed to the ones added by hand because we know where they are)?

I jumped in a little bit ago myself. I forgot to snap a shot right up in SagA*'s face, so to speak, but here's an exterior shot and a cockpit one as well.

I started out the 25th of last month and scanned anything interesting along the way, jumping mostly max LYs each time. I think I'll do another run later for the Buckyball SagA* run but that's a whole different kind of flying. Now I think I'll go scan a few neutron stars before heading back.

The great annihilator could be a supermassive but don't know for sure. Its in the core somewhere, give it a look

No but consider saving your data to sell to a power after power play. Might help ranking.

Finally made it. Now gotta see if there is anything else out here.

Sorry for the late update people.
To be honest i'm getting tired of updating the list and am thinking of handing over the duty to someone else... any volunteers?

I think this day was going to come around eventually, I reckon lock the thread for prosperity (but I would say that as I'm on it already ;) )
Seriously though, maybe stop maintaining the list but keep the thread open like the visitors book it is, it'll still keep track of who and when - just not on the list on the first page.
