Sorry I didn't spot you CMDR Matlok - I didn't mean to be rude!

I should have remembered to have a look out for other Commanders and stopped for a chat!

I, SpaceTexas, have made it to Sagittarius A today! 2 pm est Hollaaa

That's all as maybe, but as others have said and done, you have to post an image of your status panel with the SMBH in the background, showing your CMDR name clearly on it. Otherwise, your name ain't going on the list.

I say this because anyone can take an anonymous pic of the body that someone else has taken from their Asp, and claim it as their own. This is for confirmation that you yourself were there. And to keep the list of visitors as accurate as possible.

Touched down at HIP 91837 , Nouvel Survey safe and sound, no mistakes made at all on the way back; My stats in case anyone is thinking of going...

* 1674 total systems
* 27,425,890 credits earned from Cartography
* 12 Earth Likes discovered
* 99% Hull

I tagged only one black hole, and maybe the odd Neutron Star on the way, so dedicated grinders can probably do better; with the ratings as currently suggested I'd need 8 trips to Sag A and back to reach Elite, sigh. I don't think I can face even one more right now!

So........I arrived, 1059 systems on way out, plan to stay out a while more. 2 minor bumps hull at 96%.

Obligatory pic of proof:

I'm due to land tomorrow after the same trip but probably a little less scanning. There is NO WAY I would do it again soon either!

Sagittarius A visitor ;)

Ok, I just had to go there, its a LONG trip but well worth it, I have seen some spectacular sights on the way, got a handful of neutron stars and earth types with my name on them. Made 26mill and got up to ranger exploration rank on my return. Anyone considering this trip must be committed for a long haul, it took me 2 weeks but could have been faster if I didn't have to balance it with real life commitments (wife/work). Now back in the frey I had to relearn how to dock ;) but its fun. Anyway a couple of holiday snaps are attached (sorry if anyone does not want to see them but I don't know how to do the spoiler thing?). hope to see you all in space

CMDR Rusticolus reporting in from the Lakon Type 6 Euphemia - I arrived here yesterday, having completed the Buckyball Run A* and am still mildly shocked at all the systems I didn't scan on the way here :eek:

Looking forward to taking the covers off the scanners and enjoying a more leisurely trip back home :)

I finally made it to Sagittarius-A.

What a boring long and practically pointless trip....

I think of making a "speedrun" home. I dont think I can spend almost 20 more days to DDS all valued planets I visit....

I made it there and am on my way back now. Might get back to sell my data this weekend if I'm lucky.

The video shows how I almost destroyed my ship using the debug camera.

Made it - just. Now to get home in one piece

Phew, after several close calls fuel scooping too close to suns, I finally made it to Sagittarius A*. My wife encouraged me to fly into the massive black hole for glory and a promise...but my balls are just not that big. Maybe next time.

Good luck all those who follow!
