Ships any news on the Diamondback yet?

The hull actually looks pretty damn small compared to the cockpit and cargo hatch. It might even be smaller than I expected. I can't seem to spot the hardpoints. Anyone see where they are?

You're mistaken about that chair - compare it to other ships, that's a small ship. Don't know how small, but I'm guessing it'll fit on small pads (probably appropriate to dock at outposts)

You are right, it's not a big ship. I just thought how cool it is that we are able to see the pilot in the chair. That really shows how big those ships really are (the Cobra is big compared to a human). I still think that the Diamondback will be around the size of a Vulture. The person who took the screenshot of the Diamondback in the dock knows how to use perspective to hide the real dimensions. Won't take long until we know for sure.

I think I see them a big one and a medium or a medium and a small... on the ships right side (Hangar shot) so there would be the same ones on the left side making it 2 large and two medium or two medium and 2 large

It's the rugby playing son of a T6 and vulture parents , good armour good shields and the ability to defend its honour in a fight ,

lets is hope it doesn't cost the earth to upgrade the parts as my vultures running out at 30 mill. With B3 Weapons

Okay, I see them now. Based on what I perceive the size of the ship to be I'm guessing those are a medium and a small hard point, and surely the same hard points are on the other side. So unless there are any I'm not seeing that gives it the same hard points as the viper. I doubt it's two large and two medium. They wouldn't give a combat-explorer more fire power than the dedicated heavy combat ship (Vulture).

I think we can safely comment now on the price and specs.

On the docked photo;

We can see a class 2 and class 1 hard-point on each side. class 1's are right underneath the cockpit. Class 2's are further back.

We can see its a small pad ship.

Its around the size of a hauler

We can see 1 equipment hardpoint under the nose. I cant see another, but expect one above the cockpit as well.

On the outside photo we can see;

The cargo scoop hatch. It shows the scale of the ship. Also lack of rear bulk. So no big cargo space.

So my educated guesswork for stats;

Its an armed type-6.

Price 2 million
2 class 2 weapons
2 class 1 weapons
2 hardpoints

Take a close look at that screenshot. The perspective distorts the size of the ship - it looks much shorter than on the other screenshot (in flight). The "camera" was very close to the ship and low, and the fov looks quite wide. It certainly is bigger than a Viper. It could be the size of a Vulture. And if that thing costs close to the FDL it could have 2 large and two medium sized weapons - not that I think it will have that weapons.
BTW: I think below the cockpit there is an other hardpoint (if the red marked areas are hardpoints)

Is it just me or does it look like the Diamondback's rear folds down slightly with the landing gear down. On the landed screenshot the engine appear to be facing downs slightly. On the in space screen shot the engines appear in line with the body.

Medium hardpoints are the size of that entire canopy (see the Asp, this canopy is visibly smaller from the seat)
