Aisling News Bias, Who cares about her dress?

Alright folks I love the Empire (actually I hate it but their hats are cool), but why does GalNet always talk about Aisling's dress' like anyone cares besides Patreus?! I'm calling out GalNet for an obvious Empire bias, this is disgusting and cannot stand. How can you sleep at night David Braben.

You need to research your lore, Commander. A hairstyle, a dress, a carefully guarded comment, even your presence, or lack of it at certain key events are the Imperials' way of communicating what is unspoken. Observe carefully.

Cheers,

Drew.

And his Empire pin!

Edit: Yea I knew I'd regret making this thread but I didn't think Drew would call me out on the second post! Telling me to research the lore?! Oh man I feel ashamed.

I've been listening to the audiobook for Elite: Reclamation, love it so far! Thanks Drew!

Actually, the article was a subliminal cue to encourage people to Bask. By creating this thread, you've exposed your secret longing to be Imperial, and are now spreading His glory to the masses.

You need to research your lore, Commander.…

There should be an official resource for that lore where players who are new to the Elite universe can get more information than just "There is an Empire, an Alliance and a Federation".
It's really disappointing that there is almost no information about the history, the cultures and the political situation of the galaxy on the official Elite Dangerous website.

How about a few pages that give a new player the needed informations to make the galaxy a bit more believable and then maybe the "Ultimate Guide to the lore of Elite" as an e-book in the store?

How about this?

You'll learn about the lore in game and we'll no doubt include snippets in the newsletters and website as we progress.

To be hated while "hatted", is quite agreeable. :)

As for dresses and such, Imperials are just strangely into fashion. Uniforms and snappy clothing somehow drive away other thoughts at the best of times. It is just how we roll I guess.

Galnet is fashion bias, not imperial bias.

The clue is the tinted visor. The rest is just to make it look like a fashion report.

The future is bright, wear shades.
