Warning: Violence at Sag A*

Honestly, i think people that do this should get some Straightjackets and an invitation to some mental institiute. they are clearly not fit for ANY community. Ingame that means: shadowban. Not because they overstepped any rule. But to protect the innocent. Like in real life, where dangerously insane people with get locked up and the key thrown away.

Yep, shrub boy was killed a while ago, so this may be new. Just be careful peeps and be on your guard, you should still be able to outrun them. This is why I will always play open, I will not be bullied.

Nope.

By his own admission CMDR Rhodochooseacolourflowerbush killed 9 people before being bullied into self-destruction by an Anaconda so this is obviously another person lying in wait as Sgr A*.
He claims he was 'bullied' into self destruction? sorry, gagging, he was the one bullying, people reacting to his actions is not bullying its called consequences. It seems quite a lot of bullies are brought up without consequences and when they suddenly are hit by them, then they complain...odd world we live in...

As far as the suggestion for deep space explorers to tool up, there is an inherent problem here in that the whole focus of explorer ship outfitting is to increase jump range by reducing weight and to reduce heat by turning off (or just not carrying) unnecessary modules. For those crazy enough to attempt the Buckyball A* race this goes doubly so. Squeezing an extra 2ly on your jump range could make the difference between a 12hr run and a 13hr run. Hell, I'm even considering leaving the gin behind.

Previously, the line was - 'if you hang around the core systems, you're begging to be killed'. 'Frontier encourage us to attack you, just received an email from David Braben demanding I hunt innocent craft down'. So, then if pilots stay far away they'll be safe.... Now we have attacks in Sag A*, thousands of Ly away. 'If you don't have shields, you're begging to be killed.' 'It's your own fault'.

If this keeps up, everyone will need to have a fast, heavily shielded craft regardless of the role they want to play in the game. It'd be a shame if we have a lot less diversity in ship options due to having to outfit defensively even if exploring tens of thousands of Ly away.

Saddened that there are some people who can only get fun out of life by spoiling others enjoyment of things, but Anoying Little [Expletive Deleted]'s like this should find out there is a wawe can take away their toys.
.
I don't know if there is a penalty ingame for committing suicide, but I hope so*. They deserve coming up against someone who is better skilled than them who can take out their shields, destroy their thrusters, then leave them to a lonely existence, never being able to reach another station or person - or to kill themselves.
.
*maybe suicide invalidates the insurance. If you can't afford to buy a duplicate ship in full, you go back to base sidey again.
.
Still, not going to get frightened out of open. And my personal experience is that I get more trouble from NPCs in solo than I have from NPCs and players combined in open.

Here's the current load out for my own Asp Explorer ...

... or should that be Asp Eggsplorer (sorry).

I've always thought that yolks have worse reaction times than sticks. Scramble if the heat turns up, else you'll get fried.

Number one, I want to commend CMDR Anuranium who's been a vigilante for the system in the past couple of days. Last night he also introduced me to CMDR NightShady who's watching Sag A* as well. Both are in big Anacondas. Thank you for the effective and quick response to the situation CMDRs!

My Asp Class, The Orinoco, is fully armed and ready to engage in combat if needed. My exploration trip is finally gotten me to Sag A* which I should be hitting soon, after 7 weeks of exploration. For obvious reasons I wont disclose what I am packing but I'm not a piece of cake to chew on!

You can bet that if this idiot is around, we'll make sure to rain hell on him!!!

I am CMDR Nightshady, currently on patrol in the Sag A* area in my Anaconda warship, Insidious Omen. I came to Sag A* to kill CMDR Rhododendron, but he self-destructed just hours before my arrival. I have been looking for his companions but haven't found any other hostiles. I will be in the area another couple days doing scans. If you are in the area and wish protection, send me a FR in game.

Safe flying.

CMDR Nightshady
