Is it just me though or are the "blooming" effects a bit excessive? ie: The engine glows through your cockpit glass?

Remember, chair is still absent in all alphas. Therefore it will probably limit that part.

So I don't have to play with settings; how do you enable track IR looking while controller is set to joystick? I'm loving this on my 54" Sony Bravia 3DTV. My dear wife was so thrilled to see me playing the game she bought me for Christmas on the computer my boss bought for me!!!

As an aside, how do I get the Alpha to display the current frame rate?

Nice and clean! Must admit that as experience grows, the missions seem easier and easier - and in this one one really needs to take down the Cobra as well to feel a bit more satisfaction.

It doesnt need much in setting up.. no options seem to need to be ticked for it to work, just have the ap open and select the correct game profile.

So anyone able to comment on if 1.1 seems to bring performance increases with it? Specifically to the final battle sequence which people says was running a a noticably slower FPS?

Word of warning, going straight head-to-head with the Cobra may be fatal...

Going head to head is fine. If you set 4 pips to WEP and 2 to SYS the Cobra will buckle before you do.

Works, if the distance isn't initially too big and you have good aim.
