Proposal Discussion Micro-transactions

If Elite Dangerous goes anywhere near the road of 'pay to win', then it'll partially ruin the game for me. There are several videos around explaining why Micro Transactions are a) a bad thing, b) are permeating 'real' games now and c) are becoming increasingly less 'micro'.

Doesn't sound like 180, more like refining, and somehow I think it sounds even better.

Knowing I can get my hands on high end gear before I am supposed to via credits in the store defeats the items locked to rating consolation we were given. However you read and believe what you like as it will be proven in time either way.

I should stop reading posts so late in night....sorry about little chaos here. Removed previous content of the post.

So just for sake I understand it properly - there are two variants floating around now (mentioned by Sandro in Trading proposal) - one is limiting some of gear with rating, another is allowing to get this gear, but make player to face consequences in case of usage with improper rating.

I still don't see it as 180 (it is only opinion of Sandro in that post, and it is reasonable, even if you disagree with it). It is interesting point, and makes more realistic (introducing it trough buying it trough black markets, which sounds completely believable). Question is - what these legal consequences would be.
