Player Pirates on the Uprising

Like Anarchy systems ?

Not even close! Think of a ghetto sector, where you don't just jump in without being hassled by tons of pirate for going to bad neighborhood. All the pirates with bounties on their heads would be left at peace because they're pirates too. Something like that.

@Distance.
Well mate, I totally understand that. I'm pretty sure I said that already too. Did you read what I wrote, mate?
why would you think that all cmdrs are going to be nice, polite, and friendly. all cmdrs are humans! humans, they are capable of anything

You're missing the point...YOU have NO control over who you encounter anywhere in open. You, so far, have been fortunate that YOUR experience has been relatively free of harassment by the pewpew crowd....that is NOT true for everyone based on the numerous posts stating otherwise.
And the ONLY way to 100% guarantee you won't be a victim is to play solo.

No, you have plenty of control. There are many posts which explain that if you trade in less-frequented systems then you rarely meet other players, and you're even less likely to meet someone who wants to attack you.

The same is true with rares trading. There are systems which are busy and dangerous. There are also quiet rares systems with low traffic where you won't find pirates or killers. You can choose.

For example, I was at Utgaroar yesterday, a system with 15t rares which showed a traffic count of 110 (mostly Asp, Type 6, Cobra, in that order). My next stop had 32t of rares and a traffic count of 10 (ten) ships. Then 39 Tauri with 990 traffic which I'd rate as slightly dangerous, I've had several interdictions there before (mostly voluntary) but no loss. But I could have gone somewhere quieter if I'd wanted to.

Even if a pirate (or even less likely a wing of killers) wants to lurk in a 100 traffic system staring at his screen waiting patiently for a trader to appear in Open, there is little danger. Unlike in a busy system, you can easily see them and identify their ship type (quick press of '2' to show the list on the Chat panel). If it's anything dangerous and it looks like it's moving to interdict, then you can simply drop out of supercruise and jump to another system.

Rares trading in Open isn't 100% safe, but it can be more than 99% if you choose.
In my upgraded Asp I'd rate even the worst rares systems at about 95% so long as I pay attention.

Then suck it up. As long as you insist on running the rares trade route you will be hounded till the universe ends . The pewpew crowd really don't care if your hold is empty.
It's odd that in one breath you complain about them but in the next you refuse to take the only action that insures you won't have to deal with them. You can't have it both ways...playing in open, along rares routes and not being
"bullied" by the ones you call shameless.

I understand some people want to play in Solo because they don't want any human interactions, or don't want to have to look at what's on the scanner. But if you've got a capable ship and are able to think while you're flying, then you can ignore such utter nonsense.
