Will 1.3 be the end of anarchy systems?

We saw how the Factions with Rare goods overwhelmingly control their systems.

Surprisingly they don't. In the Lave area:

Leesti changed from Alliance to Independent Corporate.
Orrere changed from Anarchy to Independent Corporate.
Uszaa changed twice, Anarchy to Independent to Federation.

Elsewhere, I noticed that Hecate changed recently (partly my fault) and there may be others,

Anarchy rares ports are useful when carrying illicit rares during a rares trading circuit.

I'd be happy to see Powerplay introduce pirate factions that support anarchy, which pay out based on how much trouble you cause ;-)

Crime does NOT pay in ED, that's the problem. If it worked like that in real life, we'd have like 0.0000001% crime rate on earth. But nope crime pays a lot IRL but not in ED. This needs some love for criminals to start robbin'.

Crime certainly does pay. Look at todays tax system and government. Its a mafia based system of skimming off the top and pointing a gun at you to do as they tell you. Its legalized crime.

Your reading comprehension and political acumen support themselves - unfortunately in your case that is not a good thing ...

I would like to know what actual crime in real life pays a lot of cash. If you really think that real life crime pays then why do you bother going to work or play on this game. Crime does not pay in Real Life and anybody who thinks it does has no business playing this game.

Crime should not pay in a game or in R/L. Players should respect the Law be it in game or in R/L. Just because there is the criminal aspect to this game which some people want to take then they should also be the Law abiding citizen side and the bounty hunting side. If you kill somebody you shouldn't lose the killer tag just because you pay a small fine, just the same as in R/L. I know its too simple for some people but not everybody wants to go around PVPing to the point of spoiling the game for everybody else.

I know others will not agree with my point of view, but why should player killers get away with everything just because they can.

With the major factions spreading across the galaxy will we see things like anarchy systems vanish?

Hmmm I might be wrong but I don't think it will change the state of anarchy.
Here is an example: control by a power of a system also entails exploitation of surrounding systems within a given radius. Exploitation does not affect who is in charge in the these systems. So you can be in a Federal system under influence of an Empire Power. Powerplay is not about a faction prevailing over another, it is about a Power pulling the strings in different systems, whether they are aligned or not with the same government.
So I believe you can still be in an anarchy system even under exploitation of a Power. The same might not be true when the system is in direct control though.

I am possibly wrong, could anyone confirm/infirm please?

crime does pay irl if you have the means to pull it off and remain undetected.....

in elite we have anarchy stations that dont give a single about any law's and anarchy systems which are violent backwaters for pvp.

crime does pay but only if its done smartly.

also privateer's need to make a show and get paid full credit for the booty they snag.

There are something like 3.9 billion anarchy systems out there. Power play will not make a dent in that total.

Oh my, it's the end of the world as we know it. Disorder and chaos will surely reign, who will build the space roads?
