Our first commitment is supporting the game with regular updates. This won’t just be the fixes and tweaking we’ve provided since release but will also add new features and content. Examples of this are Wings and associated multiplayer features, as well as the additional ships mentioned in recent newsletters. We’re proud of the fantastic game that we released before Christmas but intend to keep growing and developing it. To make this happen we’re expanding the team working on the game so that we can maintain a regular schedule of updates as well as working on paid expansions.

Well, that's cheered me up no end :( On the positive side, I believe they've said they will be announcing their next self-published title at E3 so they won't have all their eggs in one basket. Not that that prevents them from being bought my MS (my god what a horrible thought...and I like MS).

Go on, admit it. You have a Word document on your desktop containing all dev updates, newsletters and significant posts from Michael, Sandro, David, Mike etc. And the links to the relevant forum posts ;)

Good idea, I think I'll start doing the same :D

Nope, I just seem to have a weird ability to remember everything I've read about this game...while at the same time having difficulties keeping track of more than three items when going to the store...:eek:

People are so impatient for walking around. I want to see it too, but I'd like to see more stuff added to the base game first. Who wants whole new parts of the game opened up with nothing to do in them? That's what we'll likely get if they rush forward with the paid expansions. If they made the kinds of improvements and additions that I'd like to see happen in the base game, they could probably wait a couple of years before announcing anything regarding paid expansions and I'd be more than happy.
