You can buy the game on Steam, and if it doesn't work well, or if you don't like the game, you can get a refund. You need to have played the game under two hours for this to be possible. The launcher of the game counts as play time, mind you.

Note: you can only do this with the Steam version. The version sold directly by Frontier on their site can NOT be refunded for such a reason as "I don't like the game" or "it runs slow." At least I don't think it can. Someone here will probably correct me if I'm wrong.

Umm... thanks for all the patronisation, but I bought the merc. pack. I don't need the demo for myself but for a couple of friends who've been sitting on the fence for a while now. I hope for a demo to pull them off that fence, one way or the other.
Besides, what you suggest isn't acceptable, anyway.

I didn't see anything patronising in his post. Seems to me he was just trying to help.

Many people don't buy the game because they don't know if it's worth it. Now they can, and some of them will keep it. "You lose all the sales you don't make."

I was just trying to be helpful :-/ I can't imagine why you'd think I'm patronizing you.

if some power is trying to takeover system control and expand their power by force shouldnt it be more logical if I get there in opposing faction/power and help kill their enemy's they would not put bounty on my head, i understand if i would kill power members in their controled space to get bounty.

"Updated all resource extraction scenario CSM's to heavily reduce the number of NPC's".

Well that's most of the fun bounty hunting at RES taken away. Been in HI-RES, LO-RES and standard RES since the updates and I guess the spawn rates are between around 20-30% of pre-1.3.

Maybe this is to boost Powerplay activities or missions and get people away from standard pew-pew, or perhaps it's the equivalent of taking away 'Seeking Luxuries' from the Traders.

Normally my glass is half-full, but with limited value in PowerPlay, loads of iritating bugs and heavily nerfed RES, my view is the game took a serious step backwards.
