maybe it would be even better to start update in the morning, not at EOB.
Previously Michael Brookes stated that the Archon Delaine Control and Exploited black market bonus stacking was intentional. However in this patch that seems to be fixed.
I don't suppose there's any word on whether the Delaine black market bonuses changes will be reverted? 8k/t was definitely too much, but 4k/t seemed about right considering the risks involved and the difficulty involved in finding a route. Halving it again makes it barely more profitable than standard commodity trading.

Can we please stop moaning about a great game.
All I need to know (no matter what is lost) is when I can play now with servers on line and WITHOUT sitting in hyperspace for 2+ mins per jump...
Has anyone else seen that or was it just a warm up issue I had while servers were getting ready?

this is unbelievable still cannot get on, getting really cheesed off now. I the only thing I can think of is to re-install and see if that works, if I re-install will I loose any thing at all, I've built up a healthy credits balance and two ships???????????

1. Check this for the server status and wait.
2. And your save is being stored serverside, so reinstalling won't delete your progress.

I've spent the whole day to rank up, I am 17 jumps away from the ranking up system and 2-3 jumps away from the station where my Python is (and I use a Python to rank up because it can land at outpost). The way there and back will take about an hour. And who know how much time will it take to rank up for both factions. So this is not a solution.

But you don't need to reinstall at all.
Imagine the furor if Blizzard was to announce a server update and all players would lose whatever levels they gained during an entire weekend! So, your level 90 warlock is now back to level 85!
Still gotta get them to spawn again. Even with the hidden progress intact, that may take a while and lots of patience. Plus, I am not even in Empire space right now, and have already spent half the weekend in vain trying to get a Federation rank mission to spawn. I would prefer not to have my time for the Empire rank (partially) wasted, too.

Awsome, back to Lieutenant! So what about all the credits I donated and the time I spent ranking up? Sold my kitted out asp since I din't need it anymore, seem I do so lost 10% there too!
We're getting penalised for these tards' poor efforts after what was obviously a rush release on Friday. Fair enough I did rank up easier than usual but my efforts shoud still hold some merit, eg. at least single rank upgrade. If this was a subscription model I'd tell them to themselves, but as they've already got my money and not getting anymore, there's all I can do.

This whole update process looks amateur to me
I've been going through a few of those updates so far and I can't believe how it looks a bit amateur. When Blizzard is upgrading their servers, everybody gets logged out and nobody can log in before the update is complete.
With ED, while the update is in progress, people can get in and get all kind of errors. That doesn't sound very well planned. If I was running things at FDev, I would have a little discussion with whoever is running the server operations. That looks really amateur and only fuel the forums of messages by people upset by the lack of advanced notification and getting in and then being booted out a few minutes later. Seriously, this part needs to improve, IMHO.

I ranked up Empire Naval rank over the weekend, and noticed a significant drop in my Federal rank (from Post Commander to Lt. Commander) - does this 'Count'?
