you do not need to type the reference stars at all, TCE picks the best ones for you all you have to do is paste them in ED ( Ctrl-V)
Sol is copied to the clipboard as soon as the Add star panel appears !
when you enter the distance in TCE it automatically copies the next reference star in the list !!!
The only thing you have to type manually is the distances !!!

Reunion Island in Indian Ocean (UTC+4). It's french department and part of EU but i already had problems with the location as some programs cannot relate it to France or EU. But nevermind I don't use this feature for the moment as I don't do mining.

P.S : Windows update just indicated me I have some Office 2010 updates to do. So I'll do them and have another test just after.

Found the problem: The last added star systems in your database having false X/Y/Z coordinates. Since we having an auto-select, one or more star system become a referance star, and thereafter all coordinates went a way off. It began with the star system "HYADES SECTOR AA-Q B5-0".
Fly back to the star systems, which coordinates are apparently wrong and recalculate the distances. Important is, that you dont use a star system, which have false data as a reference star system.

I have done this twice now; I shut down ED and forget to shut down TCE because I have had it hidden for a while during my game time. Then later I shutdown the computer and it force stops TCE.

I don't know what effect that will have, if any, on my database or TCE, but I'd like to stop forgetting to shut down TCE. Can you help an old man out?

Added in next release. Now we have a build in reminder, when exiting ED.

Yeah I was getting to the same conclusion ! The problem is, I had not noticed these large distances until you pointed them out !

Will fixing that one star system automatically fix all the other ones or do I have to redo them all from there ?
I think it's the latter but I hope I'm wrong lol

Sorry, but you have to rescan all of them. Some of the last looking good, but i would recommend to checking them too.

I am ready for the next release. Any reported issue, i have overseen?

K thanks will do when I can connect again,
I'm getting the ED unknown error again as I often do since PP
flushed DNS, renew Ip, reset router, nothing works
so I do not have enough play time to find more TCE issues if there are any

I'm intrigued to try this out. I need to buy/rent office anyway for my work/studies. Does this work with the office 365? Additionally, in case of any problems, removal of this from the Win8.1 normal "add/remove" -programs work?

Changelog:
- Added reminder, if TCE is hidden and ED was closed.
- Added new TCE Setup (V1.05). See note below.
- Added selected Panel_Mode saves to TCE.ini.
- Fixed "Edit Location" in Activities not displaying.
- Fixed issue when adding a new station in cruising mode.
- Fixed display issue for stored locations, when the location is a registered station.
- Fixed issue on exiting star system database, when no destination is selected.
- Fixed issue on saving notes for stored locations.

Note:
The new setup is for creating the new Panel_Mode entry for the TCE.ini.
You can also add a new entry by hand into the ini. Add after the last entry the following: Panel_Mode=True

True = old panel display mode
False = new panel display mode

Please check, if you have to add True/False, Wahr/Falsch or similar. Check the values above the new entry at the TCE.ini file to see the right spelling of the boolean type. Otherwise make a new through the setup, if you having problems.

TCE should work, but update Office to the newest patch. See also Yokai's guide (main post at page 1) for detailed instructions regarding installation and usage of TCE.
To remove TCE, simply delete the folder and the installed certificate.

It may of course be me being a but after updating to 1.3.02 and starting TCE it would not progress past the 'Location Unknown' Waiting for Elite Dangerous - Please enter the game.

I've updated to V1.42 Beta 1 and it made no difference.

AL1 Having shutdown and started again, a second update file became available and all problems appear fixed.

AL2 I spoke to soon, multiple errors when sacing commodities and using the logbook.

Trying to save commodity prices in a newly entered station

Getting error:

Error: (13) Type Mismatch

Will try Beta 2 now

Also, discovered a new outpost type - Mining Outpost. Ignore that, it comes up as Industrial Outpost once docked.

Not much at the moment, sometimes here and there. Not everyday nor the hole evening. But i observing closely, what FD is doing in adding content to the game.

Many said, the TCE way should be in game from the start. I agree fully with them. I decided to make my own, because it wasnt in.
