I tried to write a friendly post to reason with you. I love that on the internet everyone is reacting aggressively to everything. [highly sarcastic] I don't want to attack you!
a) Nobody attacked you. The people who tried to organise for Arissa (on reddit, this forum and ingame at our HQ) saw that a system that looked like it had no significance to our cause was on the expansion list and suggested to push other systems. Until today I have never heared of your group.
b) The players not pledged to Arissa are irrelevant to this matter.
c) I don't ask for your support, I propose, that you and other people who want to support Arissa (is this what you want, you did say so) get together and sort out such things before unneccessary conflict is provoked.
d) The Vaka situation could have been discussed and I'm sure we would have found an agreement if communications had been made. Too bad we cannot chang that the System now went to Patreus (for whatever reason).
I figure, that Vaka is much more important to you, than the faction that you are in and therefore I predict you and your group will defect to Patreus? I don't have a problem with either choice you are going to make, after all we're all imperials. I hope, you are still open for communications when neccessary.
The loss of Vaka is quite upsetting to me for it has been my home since beta. But my effort put towards gaining merits for ALD is too great to lose, even half for defecting (not to mention that I don't have any interest in any of the other powers, except maybe for Archon). But my heart lies with the Empire. So it looks like I will have to pack up shop and begin the process of moving my collection of ships to their new home. Any suggestions?(needs to have a station fit for large ships near RES and sells nearly all modules.)
Why do you have to move?
You can oppose Petreus by pirating his ships.
Even if he gets the system you can stay there. He in an Imperial power, so their ships can't just attack you for free. They will get wanted for attacking you.
Zeta Horologi is a good one, central too.
We lost our 6th and 7th ranked systems. Vaka was number 8, but even if it got to number 6 we still wouldn't have it.
All of the effort that was put in to remove Vaka, and your effort to try to get it back in the list was for nothing.
I still don't know why we only got the 2,3,4,and 5th system to expand to.

Vaka was home to some of us. Some of us valued the RP element over 'winning.' It's unfortunate to me that, rather than being supportive (even simple lip service) those in opposition to the Vaka expansion have, instead, been dismissive and even rude! Why the push to alienate an entire group of people within the faction? A group that could prove valuable in the future? The single minded tunnel vision to 'win' makes the supporters of ALD seem quite cold, corporate, and uninviting.

LMFAO this whining little group booted me because I dared to speak up against ther leader. They basically say if you are not empire and follow everything the group wants then leave ...lol.
Pity because I never got a chance to tell Ryder to leave im out of here,, I went to do it and was booted.. They can have their little gang of crybabies who cant take criticism. Hope ALD have fun pumping ongoing resources into Vaka. I would suggest that all Denton Patrius supporters do your best to undermine Vaka unless you like having a foreign parasite in your midst. Dont know why people even bother with the ED group they do nothing really for most members. Even thier chat channel is empty most of the time. Many go off and play in private groups anyway. These forums are much better for gathering friends and game help. They think they are so important. Gotta love smug minority groups dont ya..lol

Don't know what is going on with powerplay. My power had a system on preperation list at beginning of new week and now it is in expansion stage..?
Are they still messing around with it because it seems pointless putting merit points into systems that then just jump to different stage. Like Vaka.. Denton had it then lost it. Is someone at FD just messin with people? Or are there still major glitches in the new update?
I see people losing interest in PP after a few weeks it is time consuming and not so profitable. Not to mention a bit boring.

War with the other faction... Do we have to explain everything!!! Mind you Denton does not seem to have many followers at all... I wonder why! Anyway the reason we are putting tickets into VAKA is because, it is one of the best systems for Bounty hunting, and it has MAJOR potential...
Also its our home, and it would be nice to have a war in our own back yard.
We are one of the biggest clubs ever to come into game, we have grown from only a few upto over 700 commanders in just the space of a couple of months. We have 30+ commanders at home in Vaka, who love the place...
And its a great game. BTW I have not had to put any "word" in speech marks!!! Is that wrong???
In life we dont play it safe, so why play it safe in a game, we should be punching holes into the enemy, we should be mixing it up, instead of just trying to stay safe in our factions little bubble...
