Are you seriously trying to compare piracy complaints with civil rights? My lord.
Regardless, it's akin to setting people on fire while chanting for equal rights if you want to use such a flawed analogy. Commendable.
Hah... this is why I find people's inability to extrapolate without focusing completely on the specifics quite regrettable...
Allow me to spoon-feed:
Piracy in-game is a profession equivalent to that of trading, mining, exploring, smuggling, and bounty hunting. In real-life it is considered an illegal act that is outside of law by the perspective of the established, majority morality.
The well-known sit-ins performed by civil right activists create an inconvenience for the white, dominant social power at the time. This is akin to us creating an inconvenience for the traders in-game (no, if you haven't noticed, killing them in game doesn't kill them in real life).
Piracy is an advocated profession within the Elite: Dangerous universe, advertised as a portion of the game which FD is responsible to see it being balanced and functional. Now look me in the eye and tell me the current state of piracy is functional.
Please do not jump the gun and try to read further than the literary and into the semantics instead.

Post on the forum explaining why it was a bad idea. Not try to compel others to ruin people's time in some childish act of a temper tantrum.
Piracy needs to cast fear into its prey, this can be considered a part of role play. It isn't a tantrum, more like a proper respond.
