If they introduced this I suspect they'd put an ingenious mechanic into it; You walk onto virtual treadmill and turn it on. You then walk on the spot and for each minute you do this you earn 1 merit point for your Power.

Why would kerrash or any other streamer know anymore than anyone else? He isn't employed by FD and I'd be pretty narked if he is being given inside knowledge ahead of anyone else. We are all equal but some are more equal than others...

PS welcome to the real world! IF FD deem it in their interest for the reasons of free publicity to give a few select people a few extra bits of info in advance, then they will do it.... esp if those people have a decent following and are obvious fans.

He's a community ambassador, he'll be helping with the live demos at E3. He will have been briefed and trained up on whatever it is they're showing to press/public.

Well he is pretty committed to ED one way or another - he's got an ED tattoo fercryinoutloud! :)

Maybe he knows a guy who knows a guy - just how things work innit?

Or maybe he's just super enthusiastic..

I think the announcement will be something to do with Jacques station. Does Jacques station still exist by the way? Where is he?

He's an affable and well-known -- amongst the community at any rate -- fellow and as such FD have decided to make him an ambassador for the game at the various events they attend. As part of his prep for those events presumably he gets to know something about what Frontier will be demoing, and presumably he's had to sign appropriate NDAs as would other ambassadors.

Kerrash was in the (Frontier) office on Friday, they did (what appeared to be) a short test stream on the official Frontier twitch channel before they left.

I'm happy with Kerrash as Frontier's go to guy. He puts out very consistent dedicated stream every week in a perfectly professional manner.

I'd have killed for an "Elite" show when I was a kid!

He a ambassador at E3 he will have received training and a briefing pack on what he is expect to show off at E3, possible even a version of the game with those new features in so can get use to talk about them a week or two in advance.

(and sadly got way to drunk at the free bar, so much so I never got around to buying the signed audio books there :( - oops! ) - I blame Slopey! ;)

An no one going to break a NDA when it includes a free pass to E3, which I personally would kill for.

I don't expect any significant ED news. Brabeneux's past the "thanks for the kickstarter to help us become EA" and working on his next "vision".

I'm expecting cute little Xbox games and perhaps the DDF members will get their "almost god like powers". Maybe.
