i have no problem at all with an arena fighting mode, and indeed was it not spotted in the game files many months ago?
so long as it is kept in its own pidgenhole places i am all for it, and am sure the new assets used in it will also be added into the main game mixing pot to give more unique places to see.
Power play...
They will be for FD ... a new market new players, new money. That in turn should help development of the back end systems which will include the PC version.

We all knew they´re going to screw us over once again. Why so surprised?
The pattern started with ditching offline mode, the refund debacle, saying no Steam launch then launching on Steam, etc. etc.
They don´t give a damn about their Kickstarter backers or what they said before, it is swiped under the rug in their memory.
Nowhere, like half of the things shown in Elite trailers.

OK so like i said earlier
#1 xbox preview play now gives all xboxone players essentially beta access for that platform
#2 we know that Xbox players cannot interact play wise with PC/Mac, (except for affecting the community goals and the econimy /powerplay (latter not confirm on powerplay but likely)
#3 this new CQC arena is exclusive to xboxone players FIRST! waittt a second ppl so if that trailers anything to go by nobody on PC/Mac will play that till they add it to those platforms after the fact? effectively eliminating the pc/mac beta testers from the equation!! .oO(oh DEAR! NOT GOOD!)
oh and aside from the CQC part of the trailer all of that footage was recycled from other videos so hardly anyof it was gameplay.
to summerise.. im not impressed so far im afraid, (and im being polite on that as i dont want to get banned again), howevr the week is young there may be more to come from FD over E3 but not a great start.

so much hate..... I do not get it... (ditching the offline mode, I get the hate about that, but not this xbox 1 video)
we all knew arena modes were coming didnt we (it was in the code and posted about ages ago) but I do not see it affecting the game badly... indeed it may have a postive effect, giving the ones who insist on randomly blowing everything up somewhere to go.
I cant help but feel some are just looking for excuses to post vitriolic posts.
imo so what if they get to beta test it 1st......... they get that.... we get the actual game to play,

We, the PC players got it first... And the consoles are not getting anything first... As far as I am aware as it is just beta testing... And both will be getting it upon release.
We also know that they are going need money to develop the game for the next 5-10 years...
The racing is mainly for the younger generation and console players, and distracts nothing from the rest of the game... It might even be fun...

Quite & correct - they bug test the code / help FD learn the caveats and when it's ported to the PC .. viola - better game for us
like i said the week is young im keeping an open mind but i do recall the devs saying that all content would be on pc/mac before console CQC now contradicts that.. just sayin..
personally i have np with CQC as it would bring buckyball effectively in as legit gameplay

It has been known for literally MONTHS that Xbox would have exclusive timed content.
So you are seeing that whatever you might be playing now is not an Elite game? I have not played the original game but people always talk about freedom, exploring, trading and shooting stuff. What prevents you from doing so currently?
