as i recall they said it woud be a timed exclusive to the console only (before other platforms say like ps4) i dont recall them saying timed exclusive "ingame" content. to me thats a huge difference if you think on it.
however it was pretty vague so it could be interperated both ways i guess though traditionally the former i mentioned is usually the MO with consoles

That doesn't make it fair ... being on all platforms at the same time is the only way to be fair.

As long as its in lore (and this certainly is) it is great.
But why the hate? Its something more to do in your game, I thought that would be a good thing? People are complaining about it being like Wipeout, well, we have huge neon signs hung everywhere so what's the difference?

That's an Xbox One event, are you surprised not to see anything about PC?
Anyway if you don't want arena PvP here is the trick: ignore it.
i dont think im coming across clearly i appologise for that..
where would it be.. PC and mac of course two established platforms with the game content mac recently went live as a new platform for the game and has the powerplay element but mac hasnt recieved exclusive content pc gamers didnt get .. i dont see how ingame content on one platform can be allowed that. the WHOLE game exclusive to xbox for a short time yes no problem before say a ps4 or other port of the entire game but not in game new content.
it would be like if planetary landings once tested doesnt come out on MAC but comes out on pc only for a limited time exclusively ppl would be very annoyed over that.
i dont know if im clear at all but thats the way i see it and its not a good move imo
Maybe he did. Or maybe they are still busy working on it but nothing to announce yet. Or maybe they are smart enough to realize DDF is not a rule per se and that sometimes listening to some members of the community beyond the richest/oldest backers is also something acceptable.
No, he just raising money for the project, and we all know console users have an attention span of a fart in a bubble bath. He is just catering for the younger generation who have no attention span for the real game.
It all costs money and the real game will take years to develop... Stop worrying...

probably the combat shooter we all have.. if you have an xbox go try it id be curious on what is available right now (mind you this new preview play will probably be only available US wise atm.)
I swear this forum is one of the most eclectic and vitriol filled I've seen for a game in a long time.
There are plenty of us older gamers who use enjoy both PC and console gaming. I said it in another thread a while ago, and I'll say it again here. Video game consoles have been around since the early 70s. They predate the original Elite and the PC (depending on your definition of PC I suppose). Associating kids, short attention spans etc with console users doesn't really work.
