So we, the PC guys, get Powerplay. Broken, buggy, and boring. Meanwhile, the console guys get CQC, something I, and many others, have been asking for since DAY ONE. Is PC even going to GET CQC ever???

Chill. It's a marketing maneuvre, and a smart one. We'll get all the goodies in good time, and more. In the end this will turn out to be one of FD's best decisions.

I've been demanding a new Elite game since day one and now that we have it, I have to find something even dumber and more pointless to rage over.

It makes no sense to argue that just because you have a "financial stake" in a product that you get to make ridiculous demands of that company. If that were the case, anyone who ever paid money for any kind of product or service would get to make arbitrary demands. I mean, Campbell's isn't obliged to listen to me when I write to them complaining that my tomato soup isn't exactly the right shade of red.

This is one of the most effortlessly crushing things I've ever read. I'd rep you, but apparently I already have for something else.

What's even more hilarious is that later on in the thread, after being corrected, he tried to work himself into a frothing lather of rage over the fact that 'it better be free as well', before someone pointed out that they'd also already said that during the announcement.
