Ingame message since 10:00 (BST)
The servers are has gone down 10:30 (BST). OP Posting was 10:15 (BST)

Better announce the downtime time point! And then it is done when it is done.
But if you would play it is missleading at least from 10:15 (BST) until you recognize servers are down now!

So what's the problem? The in-game broadcast stated that the servers should become unavailable at 10:30BST. OP states that upgrade process is going to start at 10:30BST.

I tried trading with the trading modifiers but was never able to find good routes with them...
Weren't they active?
 
It never ceases to amaze me that every time we have an update there is major confusion over such a simple thing as time. :( :eek: :rolleyes:
 
I'm a bit worried that there's no mention of fixing the lack of Violent Protest zones in Sokn where Pranav Antal is attempting to expand to. I assumed last update that it would be fixed, but sadly not. Can we expect this problem to be fixed with this update?

It's a serious problem that we're unable to make any progress for our expansion, while the opposition is able to. Already it's a lost cause trying to make this expansion succeed.

P.S.
Have won a high ingame bet against two CMDR's with the Palladium/Platinium failure.
Now waiting for the next update that the 15% ship discount was "not indended" ...

What's so hard about using GMT/UTC?...

It's annoying enough when NASA announces all their launches only using US timezones only (likely due to legislation), however you guys are supposed to be a game company with an international customer base. Considering it is always raining in the UK most people probably don't even realize you guys _have_ summer over there.

no I won't ask "Did you fix protesters in Skon?"
I always find it a bit funny, when people asking about stuff that is not listed in the change log. The logic is really simple: when it is not mentioned, it is not fixed. The bug migth get busted in a later patch, but for now it persists. This is okay, it is all understandable and I am patient.
(Edit: as additional fixes were added in the time this thread unfolds, I might be wrong and asking for missing fixes might not be as unreasonable as I thought...)

The "Skon issue", however, is time critical. The cycle will only last for two days and this bug will effectively prevent a successful take-over.
So, instead of asking "Is it fixed?", I want to ask:
"Did you already decide, how to handle the game effects of this bug?" Will Skon be counted as accomplished expansion (manually injected by FD) or will Antal lose this cycle's only expansion target?

I agree. This is a serious problem seeing as Sokn is our only expansion system this cycle.
