I think Mr Law is correct on page 1, but perhaps for different reasons.
We moved away from the core towards the frontier in March. Only players around were us brave few (just trying to build the forntier up a bit).
Since the launch of Powerplay, we are seeing more new players (they outnumber us now), players early in their cycle with Cobras, and some with Asp/Type-7. Primarily solo or a couple of friends playing together mostly trading. I expect to start seeing solo pirates soon, following the solo traders in the near future.
Powerplay, and the geographical area is not overly attractive to the more solo but player who want to play in open - I think they are migrating out of the pp area.
On another note started a 2nd character. I was expecting to be PvP'd to death in LHS 3447, with loads of nubies running from Vultures (hey I was going on the impressions from this forum). I saw a few sidewinders, no-one took any notice of me, got a few tips (not been there since Jan). Goodness, the system is a mess, famine, lockdowns, low Fed influence. Are all Hudson's systems like this?
