Kill Warrant Scanner Rating A or Rating B? The difference?

If scan time was decreased for higher rank KWS I might actually use them, but given the power usage I just stick to the cheap ones.

You just gave me an idea to buy Sidey and do the same. I don't like how bonus bounties are scattered around, I think they should be claimable in every system and station. I would probably loose 6h at least from visiting all the system I have that minor bounties in. Just not worth the time.

Yeah, that's the "common" solution for this problem. Just splat a sidey.

I've seen the KWS giving a 50% bonus on bounties, if not doubling them sometimes - so I will not get rid of it. Using C grade atm though, because power.
Having small bounties from noname factions is an unfortunate side effect, but mostly you'll be able to a.) cash in more of them at the same time; b.) they are often from main factions that are not local to you.
Eg. I've collected mills of Alliance / Imp bounty vouchers in Fed systems before.

How is this any different from the A7 sensors of an Anaconda in regards to the A3 sensors of a Cobra? Aside from excessive cost and weight differences, I have yet to see anything that actually indicates anything is actually different between any of them once the range is the same.

This.

It makes no sense that a system with a weight of 4t. has the same capabilities as one with a weight of 160t. Especially when talking about sensors. A sensor array weighting 160t should be able to scan hundreds of KM, be it radar, IR, or whatever.

Maybe it's just the cables from the sensors to the central computer? They weight 157t in an Anaconda? Lolz!

I would be quite happy if we could cash in all those small bounties by paying a "transaction" fee, for example 15% for the same major faction, 30% for different faction... currently I have close to a million in penny bounties.

So you're saying you need the extra range for PVE, where ships will happily stay within E-scan range all the time?

If you have the energy to spare being able to start scanning further away helps you to speed up the process ....

Its a good thing then that it hasn't

The benefits are fairly marginal for PvE too. The extra range is only handy so i can start a little sooner when racing towards my next bounty to either mean I won't kill little fry before the scan completes, or for bigger ships I can swap fire groups. I wouldn't hesitate to downgrade if I needed the power. Dropping them altogether is interesting, but I do seem to get quite a lot of additional bounty income.
