..so i am tapping through edshipyard and coriolis ship builder site..
I note that on the half mil - 170 ton DBScout -
EDshipyard has tonnage at 42t for mirror and price of 1.185 mil
Coriolis has tonnage at 26t and the same price of 1.185 mil
Apart from a slight weight data base update .. cost reasonable
I note on the 2.5 million - 35 ton Courier the 8t Mirror bulkeads are a staggering 5.4 million
Comparison:
180T Cobra @ 27t mirrored costs 0.797 mil
60t Viper @ 9t mirror costs 0.304 mil
230t Vulture @ 35t mirror costs 10.4 mil
Courier -
1. Whats the mirror made out of .. antique silver?
2. Why should there be such a difference in the heavier scout and the lighter Courier just because of ship purchase price
3. As a cost function tied directly to the value of the ship.. I think bulkhead weight should also factor into the calculation.
..thoughts anyone?
