Where can I get one of these artefacts?
It is a PROPER NAME or I wouldn't make the comment - It is ARTEFACT in the game - not artifact. I don't call the sidewinder a horned rattlesnake either ....
1: they destroy ship modules, eventually resulting in escape via the cargo hatch.
2: they decay in space seemingly to the point of destruction.
3: the latest evidence suggests that they transmit their location.
Bear with me on sorting the first couple of posts folks....my kids have other ideas :/
To be precise, the 'plain' Morse code that some are hearing is coming from the station, in the same way as the NavBeacons send out audio.

Sorry, I prematurely assumed you just didn't read the post I quoted.
Are you sure?
I've just taken a ship to Seega Port, sat right next to the tower and recorded, I can't hear any chittering here, at least I cannot hear what I think we are saying is morse in the other recordings.

Can we get the Artefact spelled correctly![]()
A slippery slope, is that.I drew some flack for that spelling, and changed to the US one.
Don't start that again!
Artefact and artifact are both correct. While Artefact is the proper (UK) way, and makes more sense etymologically I drew some flack for that spelling, and changed to the US one.
